Music for Your Wedding Ceremony

One of our most popular DJ services here in Miami is to provide music and sound for your wedding ceremony.

We will play songs of your choice as guests start to arrive and take their seats. During our planning process you will have select a song for the bridal party to walk in. Perhaps the traditional Bridal Chorus for the bride. During the ceremony a wireless mic will be made available to the Officiant so all may hear your vows to one another. Then finally, once the ceremony is done and you are married, a happy song celebrating your union as you and your spouse walk out of the ceremony.

Now depending on your specific needs, this service has a cost between $250 and $350.

Coconut Grove Wedding

The Music

Wedding Ceremony Possible Sound Issues

We provide music and sound for wedding ceremonies throughout the Miami and South Florida area. I wanted to point out a few of the errors and mishappenings that can occur during a ceremony, as far as music and sound goes.

1. Windy Conditions
When outside there is always to possibility that windy conditions make for a lot of noise on the mic. Sometimes it can be really bad and it is just best to turn off the mic all together.

2. Rain
Because of delicate electronic equipment, unless there is a covered area, rain will force us to turn of the equipment to protect it from permanent damage. We have never had to do this yet but it's something to keep in mind.

3. Can't hear the Officiant
Usually this is due to user error. The person holds or stands too far away from the mic and there is little that we can do about it. As much as I'm tempted sometimes to go up and tell them, I am not about to interrupt your ceremony and get in the way of your video or photos.

4. Officiant does not let bride & groom talk on the mic
This one I hate the most!!! It's time for you to say your vows, the officiant says "repeat after me" and then he/she starts reading the vows but never gives you, or holds the mic near you. So guests end up hearing the Officiant and never the couple. Even when I do my best to bring this up with them, most do it anyway.

5. Electricity
Don't forget to check if there is power available at the location and if so how far it is from where your DJ might setup. This way your DJ can see how many extension cords will be needed. If there is no power, a generator will have to be rented. Modern generators are pretty quiet but some little bit of noise should be expected. Some DJs might have a battery powered system, but no matter what make sure to check.
